Today, I am going to show you and annotate some pictures from the time I went to London, England with my family. I had never been to London before so this was an amazing experience to embark on. I know I'm doing this post alot later then expected but hey.. its better late then never right?
I am not going to include pictures of my family in this post because I'm not sure if they would feel 100% comfortable with that, plus I rather show off my side of my experience to London in my blog as I want to show everyone my opinion and feelings towards everything I am talking about?? if that makes sense lol.
My London experience started on the 6th of July 2014 when I woke up extremely early at 4.00am with hardly any sleep that night because I was so excited. My Nannie was picking me, my auntie and my cousin Danielle up at 5am so we could get to the airport, get security out of the way and onto the plane for 6.30 am. We then landed in London around 9am and we were all starving so we started pigging out on some Marks and Spencer's sandwiches on the train while getting dirty looked by some elderly people.

So my first day/night in London was a great experience and it lived up to all the hype. The next day was the 7th of July 2014 and that was the day we were going to see Phantom of the Opera and I couldn't wait as I hadn't seen it before and I had always wanted to witness it live before my eyes. It also gave me a great excuse to get all dressed up.
There was a man shouting 'NO PHOTOS' but I got a sneaky one. |
The next day was another retail therapy day but I was very excited as I was going to Ma'dam Tussauds and that is a must-have attraction that you need to see if you are going to London. Before we went to Ma'dam Tussauds we went to Oxford and Regent Street and I'm pretty sure all my money went to the Oxford Street Topshop, I love it so much because there are little stalls were you can buy cupcakes and drinks (I bought them of course) I finally tried my first bubble tea and it was gross haha I was so disappointed. Another thing that disappointed me was the M&M store, it was so hyped up but it was awful. I'd only recommend there if you want tacky t-shirts with the M&M print over it.

Me and my family did so much and seen so much when we went over to London and it is so hard to fit all of it in just the one blog post like I spent some amazing quality time with my Nannie on a boat ride along the Thymes and I also went to Hamley's and seen all the amazing toys. But on the last day of my London trip I seen Buckingham Palace, The London Eye and Parliament which was great to see as you only really get to see these things on television.
Alot dirtier then what I expected??? |
Overall, London was one of the best experiences in my life and I'm so grateful to all my family to share this experience with, especially my Nannie as she defiantly needed this experience from the hard two years she has had. I love London.
